PRODUCT NEWS
BELKI now offers IT-based monitoring system.
The
starting point was the innovation group's priorities and BELKI's desire for a
future orientated product programme. The activities therefore commenced with
the product development of monitoring solutions in order to optimize and
automate the filtration process in small and large central plants. The
result was a system that can monitor simple disturbances such as pressure and
temperature, and also parameters such as pH, oil concentration, flow, nitrite
and nitrate content.

The
system can log up to seven fluid parameters and trigger an sms alarm in the
event that predefined limits are exceeded. The
system can thus supply data that documents concentrations for internal analysis
of the processes or to provide documentation to the authorities where this is a
legal requirement, for example in Germany.
The
icing on the cake is a machine that can be added to the system to perform
automatic dosing of the concentrate until the desired concentration is
achieved.
The
precision machinery industry now has the potential to significantly
•
optimize the filtration processes
• avoid unintended events, e.g. overflow and undesirable concentrations
• avoid production stoppages and clean-up times
• control fluid to the production processes by controlling the pressuring in
the supply pipes
• minimize manual monitoring and filling
• minimize tool wear
• improve product quality
• extend the lifetime of coolants/lubricants
• improve the internal working environment (obnoxious smells)
• minimize the risk of allergies, unpleasantness and illness due to bacterial
growth.
